I was married 30 years to a guy who was not romantic. I tolerated it and felt safe in life, but my need to hear "I love you" was not on his list of things to do.... so I suffered emotionally just to have a "safe" marriage. I needed the words. He didn't.
The way a guy is at age 20 is pretty much how he's gonna be for all his life. If romance is one of your desires, the money doesn't do anything but trap you in a seemingly love-less situation.
Find out what HIS goal is for getting married. Decide if that is a goal you want to fulfill for the next 40 years. Will you have to stay slim and beautiful as a trophy wife? Will you have to submit to his every physical desire? Will you be his at-home secretary?
Will you feel cherished? Do you want to feel cherished?

Tell her she could always buy a romance novel if she really needs the romance:)
No really money isn't everything, but it sure does come in handy and there are ways to let a guy know that you prefer a little romance.
Subtle hints or her just leading him into the situation. She could always set the tone the first time, kinda show him the ropes, candles, wine, whatever she likes and maybe he'll pick up on what she's saying.

Most men do not have a clue what romance is. Some never will, keep in mind money does not buy happiness

Well, if you're a gold digger then it should be fine no matter how romantic it is since the priority is obviously monetary anyway. How sad!

I would think the thing would be if she loves him and him loving her. Money is secondary. Good Luck

who cares if it is romantic. the thing is, he chose her out of all the women out there. she has to be special to him. that should be romantic enough for her whether he has money or not.

for you to not respond quickly then that's mean you want the money more than the romance.

Well if she wants a sugar daddy go for it. But if she wants someone to love and to love her don't do it.
