You can use one, it would get the tile cleaner than mopping, it would not get the grout clean, for this you need a higher pressure scrubbing system that professionals use. The only bad part with using your machine on the tile, it would not pick up as much water as it does on the carpet, so you would have to dry the floor when you finish. Remember the less water on grout, the cleaner it stays, since grout is absorbent

I used a steamer on my grout tiles. My hubby seems to have the only urine that defies gravity and leaps out of the bowl onto the floor all over the bathroom. I bought one of the steam cleaners you see on the infomercials and went to town. came up great. I also used a bit of water and bleach to disinfect. Make sure your not using bleach on a colored grout that will change too much. My grout was pale ivory so it didnt affect it. Word to the wise... once you get it clean as you want it seal your grout with a grout sealer. Artesian is a wonderful grout sealer.

every time we make a huge purchase, we continually verify client comments. They cautioned, and we ultimately offered, a Kenmore creative Upright with Intelli-sparkling from Sears. It does an staggering pastime on puppy hair; we've an American Eskimo who sheds a ton of hair. Our domicile contains berber carpet and actual hardwood flooring, so we would have liked some thing that would desire to be mushy on the hardwood. This vacuum has a function the place you could turn off the rotating brush, so it purely sucks up hair on the hardwood. The intelli-sparkling function senses dirt and dander on your carpet and we could you comprehend while that is sparkling - and on an identical time as I first thought it became basically a gimmick, i'm looking now that that's a extraordinarily life like representation of the cleanliness of the floor. There additionally are extremely some cleansing approaches, and the hose reaches incredibly a strategies with the extension on (i will sparkling our intense front room ceiling). And the twine for the vacuum is rather long, so i do no longer could unplug it and flow it to a distinctive outlet. (we've extensive rooms; there's a sofa in our mattress room, lol.) it is likewise the quietest vacuum i've got ever heard. My canines regularly runs and hides while the vacuum comes on, yet now he lays and watches it and would not run except that is coming without postpone in the direction of him. It would not steam sparkling, however the Kenmore is probable the superb vacuum we've ever owned. It does a great pastime on the puppy hair!

You can use a mop vac (dirt devil, hoover, etc) , which is specific for floors. You could try the carpet steam cleaner but I don't think it would work and would take more time. You would need alot of patience to get that grout cleaned.

Sure will and wont bother the grout but probably wont suck up the water very well because of the gap in the surface unless you have a squeegie attachment.
