Collect money! I have a large paper money collection from the Soviet Union. Paper rubles aren't worth hardly anything, but they are huge and beautiful with tredemendous watermarks, esp the late 19th century ones with Tsar Nikoli on them, although the early 20th century ones with Lenin on it are cool as well. Ebay usually has a bunch of foreign currency on it and I believe it's pretty cheap there.

It's pretty cool to say you collect money. You may ask friends or family who have been overseas or on cruises if they have any leftover money as well. I know when I travel I always end up with something left over and it just sits in a drawer. You could probably mooch off others and get a great start.

Something else that is really cool is tombstone rubbings. You can take a plain piece of paper and a crayon or piece of charcoal and rub over an epitaph on a tombstone and save it. Some are really neat (I used to teach a college class on Death and Dying and collected a bunch for classes in a notebook and it is really cool) and not a collection many folks have.

hope this helps.

You did tell her to get f*cked. Don't try and justify it on a technicality. My mother in law is exactly the same as yours. Be a bigger person and kill her with kindness. If I can deal with her sarcastic remarks in the delivery room 15 mins after my daughter was born surely you can deal with some crappy presents, she is in another country for god sake! No matter how frustrating it is, suck it up. You threw the rings, were rude to his mother refused to let him sleep even though you knew he was mad and a sleep probably would have helped him calm down, you have sex with him to try and fix the problem then complain because it was rough not passionate, and you want him o cuddle you and buy you a new ring....Grow up, I don't condone hitting anyone, he should never have done that, but you really need to take a long hard look at yourself and perhaps stop drinking.

Business cards- go up to people in offices or wherever you see them and ask them for their card.

Dollar bills- see if you can find one with each of the 26 letters as the final letter in its serial number, or easier, find one from each of the 12 Federal Reserve Banks.

Your name in print: Find every example of your name that you can in newspapers, magazines, etc and cut them out and stick them on a poster

Sorry, not too exciting - good luck

You might try temp tattoos. They come out of machines for $.50 each. Some of the pics are pretty cool. I have a 13 yr old boy. He does this. It started w/ dragons, and went from there. We now put them in baseball card holders. He will trade w/cousins doubles for ones he doesn't have. Machines are usually located in grocery store lobbies. good luck.

Some kind of cards maybe...Magic, YuhGiOh, etc. You could collect the obscure ones based on movies, etc. Why do you have to collect something in 2 weeks?

I have an old jewelery box with some of the old necklaces, charms, single earrings and such that I just never got around to tossing out. If you have a Mom or some older aunties around, could you ask them if they have some old junk jewelery. your question reminded me that I had an old flat star in a moon silver and stone charm from my old protest days of the war. Peace and love.

Added thought...you might look in the bottom of junk drawers, tool boxes, toy boxes and such just to collect the small flat leftovers of life.
