To die is free. What people want to do with your remains is their problem. Also, many funeral parlors have plans set up so that you can pre-pay the expenses or your loved ones and make the choices and payments in advance.

Some of us may be creamated for $300.
There are websites that will do funerals--real funerals for less than 2000 so shop around.

No I can't. My life is worth more than 7 thousand dollars. I bring a lot more than monetary value to my family.

Well, I have life insurance that would cover that, so I guess so. But, after funeral expenses and outstanding bills, it would be tight for my family.
I ought to wait at least 15 more years when I can get more stuff paid off and our mortgage lowered...then i can die...

Yes, because I will be dead and have no worries.
Hhowever, my family will have the burden of affording the funeral. And again, yes, we have money set aside for that.

We all can in due time, it does not all relate to cost or benefit. It can be very expensive, but does seem adequate and perhaps funny to relatives who will not miss one for long themselves. Bye.
