Well your options are limited... you can carry a "fanny pack" with your stuff in a waterproof ziplock type bag on the inside. I am with you on the flip flops but from experiece if you are riding any water rides don't bother your feet will be sliding all over in your flip flops ( I fell down a ramp off of a water ride because of this)

I work at an amusement park, and there they have a system set up at each ride that makes sure that the only people that have access to your items when left at a ride is you, even if it is a muli-train ride. I am not sure all parks do this, but Hershey Park also has alot of extra staff on the platforms that will gladly watch your bag since while the ride is going there is not much you can do accept stand there.

I know that last summer when I went to Six Flags in Louisville that my best friend and I carried around one bag the whole time, like a messenger bag, and we set it aside when we got on the rides, some people are funny about that, but we had 2 cell phones, 2 digital cameras, and over $100 in cash in it. Nothing ever happend to it, we usually do that, and have never had a problem doing so. That way you wouldn't have to worry about it getting wet. Hope this helps!

A backpack was my best friend at our last trip to Disney/SeaWorld, etc.. I could hold everything in there, including snacks and water, plus the sunscreen and my wallet. I did put my camera inside a ziplock bag to keep it safe inside the backpack, and it was fine. As for flip flops, I wore them each and every single day. I prefer them to all other shoes, and they were fine. I did not lose them on any of the rides and I was very comfortable. Enjoy your trip! In regards to your camera, the more extreme rides generally have a pouch in front of every seat to hold small items that might fall out during the ride - such as a camera, sunglasses, etc. The pouch is mesh with an elastic band at the top to secure the belongings. We used the pouches often - and left a few things behind accidentally! (Luckily the cast members were wonderful and we got everything back).

Well, I can only speak from my own experience...I go to Disneyland often, I take a backpack type of bag so it's secure, but I don't have to "hold on" to it. I also take a bag with other stuff in it and put it in a locker and only keep with me what I absolutely need to have all day, any extras are in the locker that I can go to when I need it. And as for camera, etc., and water rides, yeah ziploc bags is all I know.
Works for me. Hope it helps.

get one of those purse things that hook around your waist and then put the stuff in a zip lock inside it. That is what I always did. Most amusement parks require you to wear shoes on rides so you have to have something on your feet. Flip flops use to be aloud but I have not been to any amusement parks for 3 years.

You need to wear shoes that are going to make you cozy in walking and riding rides. Second... this is going to sound really stupid, but you could aways get a really small "fanny pac" They work, you might be able to hide it under a shirt. A lot of places have lockers. You should keep your phone in there if your at a amusement park.

i think u should get a locker there are a lot of theme parks that have them and they allow u to keep ,,ur things safely locked away without u being worried and u can put all of the things u need in there and when u do need them u can just go to the locker and get them
