Men feel sleepy after having sex because it has been scientifically proven that orgasm induces sleep.
Another fact is that after doing RIGOROUS work, the body needs to rest.

I studied sexology (yes, that's a real thing!) during college and it turns out that Richard Pryor was right about guys needing "24 hours and a bowl of Wheaties" before getting it up again! lol Seriously...men DO have a longer "refractory" (recovery) phase after orgasm than women do. So they fall asleep (or take a rest)!
However, there are many men who KNOW this and fake it to avoid having to cuddle! The more men you know, the more reasons you find to validate the idea that WOMEN are the stronger sex, at least in bed!
Props to you, though, for asking this question! Most guys wouldn't. And don't let anyone make you feel bad for falling asleep (unless you're faking it). Sex uses a LOT of energy!

its H A R D work at times.
there is a chemical in the brain that satisfies both sexes and relaxes the nerves. This chemical (I can't remember what) is the highest in men after sex.
Other times sex is usually after we put the kids to bed. Of course I'm tired after those days.

Well if most women are like myself, we get tired too. Well I know I do anyways. Plus, women like to cuddle....falling asleep with the girl you just had sex with isn't bad is it? I dont think so!

I dont nod off after sex. i'm between the few who needs to stay wakeful for round 13 or 20. in many cases my woman talks dirty to me, or she begins kissing or touching me especially places, and that i'm up and prepared for extra. I have a good time with the sex i'm getting, so i'm prepared to do some thing to get it.

WELL MUST OF THE TIME, WHEN THERE IS A LOT OF ACTION IN THE SEXUAL ACT, THE MEN (NOT ALL OF THEM) TEND TO GET REALLY TIRED WHEN THEY FINISH.
SO NOT ALL MEN DO HAVE SEX AND GO TO SLEEP AFTERWARDS.

probably b/c most guys r tired after havinbg sex and they just want to sleep my boyfriend cruels up next to me and go to sleep after sex b/c he is tired
