Hi Tanya,
A while back son and daughter decided to draw on my brand new yellow leather lounge. One had a pen the other a black marker.
So I know how you feel right now. I removed the pen and black marker with a product made by Dylon call Stain Solve.
Its meant to be used in the laundry on clothes but I was desperate. I carefully rubbed it on with a clean cloth and it removed the pen and marker makes without removing the colour of the lounge.
I am not sure where you come from but I can buy this brand here in Australia. It's in the supermarket isle were the laundry products are.
If where you live doesn't have this brand, there is sure the be another brand like it.
The active ingredient in it is TRIETHANOLAMINE. It's in a small bottle.
The site below shows you what is looks like

hope this helps you out.

STOP THIS IS A MUST READ FROM SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT!!
most of the answeres here are common misconceptions. Even the ones that work will only work if the stain is attacked very fast..
Once the ink has set in,,, it may not come out.. If you do apply something strong enough to remove set in ink.. You will more than likely also remove some of the leather DYE...
Hairspray... will sometimes work if applied fast.. WHY... its not the hairspray.. its the alcahol in the hairspray.. Now ask yourself.. Do you want the sticky substance designed to hold a hairstyle sprayed on your fine quality leather furniture????? NO!
Bleach.. That one is just down right stupid...
We do this for a living ... even the products that we by professionally will more than often not remove set in ink.. these stains almost always require redye work in the effected area..
You really have 2 choices.. deal with the stain or call a leather repair company in your area.. we have some links on our pages that may help..
Furthermore if you have a warranty on the leather furniture that covers stains... as soon as you make your own attempt the warranty company will have a reason to deny your claim... Stainsafe guardian guardsman whichever.... They will already make you jump through hoops of fire to get serviced...
There are also treatments that you can purchase to make surface stains easier to remove.. Punch in NO BULL leather cleaner. We reccomend it and have it manufactered.

You have a 2 year old and you bought a brand new leather sofa?
I have a 3.5 year old and you may want to put your new sofa into storage for the next couple of years and drag out the old one. Has your 2 year old been potty trained yet?? Believe me ink is the least of your worries.

Try to put bleach on dampened cloth and gently rub . Start with an invisble area first to ensure that it will not remove the color.

You can use a glycerin pen to remove it but if I were you, I would just call a service to do it for you. If you try it yourself and mess it up...then what?
