Kevin, the only help you've gotten here is from Chrissy, so I suggest you use her answer - BE SURE your teacher knows that you know that Lennie and George are brothers. You don't have to read the book - just copy and paste brilliant Chrissy's answer.

ok, i suggest that you read the book because the people who did answer, answered wrong. George didn't kill Lennie in the barn and they are not brothers. If you decide that you are not going to read the book, then go to sparknotes.com or type in the title on google to get a summary. And don't use wikipedia because anyone can change the information. And I still say that you should read the book because it is really good

I loved that book. <3 I don't remember much though. It's about how two friends set about to work so they can own their own ranch? They run into some obstacles where Lennie unintentionally commits a crime.
If you're doing this for English class and because you didn't read it, I suggest you read it. It's one of the best books I've read and I read a whole lot. :)

First of all, his name is Curley. Secondly, you should really read the book. It's actually really good. Or at least watch the movie. Thirdly, I suppose I can help. Basically, Curley is an asshole. He is mean-spirited and agressive. He is very jealous & suspicious and he likes picking fights because he thinks that he is superior. Slim is the only character who seems to be at peace with himself. Slim is calm, quiet, nice and just all around a good person. He is very insightful.

George took care of Lenny plus they were building a dream together to own their own property - Lenny was a very large physcial person but small minded man and he loved to pet small furry animals, George always caught him with a dead mouse in his pocket because he was so big and he would pet the animal so hard it usually killed them - The end is very sad because George realizes he has to shoot Lenny because he became involved with Curly's wife from the ranch and we liked to pet her hair and eneded up killing her - George has always taken care of Lenny - but he always gets them in trouble - Its very moving.

oh my, its been so long since I have read this!!!
If I remember correctly, Lennie (mentally challenged, unless I have the names backwards) was the brother to George. Lennie was believed to have killed someone, and the town mob was afterhim, they were going to kill him. His brother who had always taken care of him, distracted him in the barn and killed him so he wouldn't have been terrorized by the townspeople before they brutally killed him.
But like I said it has been 20 yrs since I have read this book, so I am REALLY hazy. So I hope you aren't using my summary for your book report! lol.
Update: http://www.bookrags.com/notes/omam/CHR.html, I was wrong they weren't brothers they treated each other as such but only companions, but other than that It was right. Look up the link I gave you It tells who everybody is and what part they played, etc...
