I 'm looking for a heavy duty hdege trimmer that can cut up to 1/2 to 3/4" branches. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Stihl double sided.I don't have a model number in front of me, but a Stihl dealer will help you out.They are not cheap, but take it from me, they are what pros insist on.I have cut one inch branches without breaking pace.( They have an option for a handle which can be rotated and locked in 90 deg, increments which is handy for large or tall jobs)And watch you hands and fingers!

a hedge trimmer is made for smaller branches, you need to use a long handle shear or hand saw for bigger branches...
