Time Consuming Hobbies

There are already all the things that I would have suggested myself. Out of all of these scrapbooking is the most time consuming, finding pictures, sorting, making pages, etc. My other fav is crochet. Like suggested it's a hook and some yarn and way easy to learn. Your local craft store might offer a class. It's great for gifts, new babies, tons of cool hats and scarfs in great colors. Even bags and purses. There are also weaving sets and looms that you can get to make things from to. Just try and choose an activity where you get to make choices and pick out stuff that makes you happy when you see it. Happy crafting....ps - you could put together jigsaw puzzles and glue them when finished....

There are so many different things that you can do. For a start, you could check online for hobbies. Some of my suggestions are:
Reading. Knitting is getting really popular too. Painting.
How about going to a local craft store and asking if they have interesting things?
Or you could check in a newspaper and see about joining a theater club, or writers club or whatever. It's all up to you.

Try scrap booking. It is fun, and definitely, time - consuming. Plus,...you can make memories that will last a lifetime in the process. There are lots of resources on the web, in stores, etc. As a matter of fact, even the Dollar Tree is selling supplies now. Sounds like it would be right up your alley.

try doing your family tree- ancestry.com is only $27 per month or
you can do some jewelry making. a small loom is about $10 and the beads to make a bracelet would only cost about $5. you can find patterns and tutorials all day long on the net for free. I've been doing both for years

You can make beaded jewellry and sell them at school, to friends or at the fair, Its a great way to earn money. you can also sell them for charity or give them to children at a hospital. You can also buy clay at a local art store and make sculpturs. They are really fun.
