People didnt used to and they didnt have to. So what has changed so that people think they have to shower everyday now?

I guess people like to be cleaner in this day and age.

Depends on what kind of job a person has. If I worked in a coal mine I would want to shower everyday. If I was retired and didn't go out all the time I probably would miss a day, but not more than two.

OMG, I haven't the foggiest idea. I shower everyday regardless of the fact that I am staying home alone all day. Am I now doing it wrong. It is habit for sure. We all had daily baths as kids and now I would just be grossed out not to have a shower each and everyday.

people long ago didn't have the bathrooms, showers or even running water that we do now and it was just accepted for that reason . They did however have wash basins and things to keep themselves clean. I don't believe that it has ever been acceptable to not be clean. People want to be clean and alot of people don't feel clean unless they take a bath or shower everyday. I know that I don't feel clean unless I take a shower everyday.

I like to shower. Wakes me up, makes me cleaner. People didn't used to because they were still living only a few decades from when people thought bathing was unhealthy..

I feel more clean if I take a shower every day. I can't stand not going a day without one.

Hmm, probably reports and stats and stuff. It's the same thing with washing your hair everyday. You don't have to and it can actually be bad for your hair.

THAT WAS BECAUSE OF THE WORK INVOLVED IN TAKING A BATH BACK THEN. NOW PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO STINK AND IT'S EASY. PLUS THAT WAS WHY ORAL SEX WAS NOT POPULAR BACK THEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
