The anime didn't show them together unfortunately if you're saying that they're a couple. But they are togther as colleagues in the end of the anime. The manga is still ongoing and I suggest you read it starting from chapter 356 (vol 36)- this is where the anime content ended.

No, at the end of the anime Inuyasha and Kagome are not together as a couple. They are still searching for the jewel shards together at the end, but that's because the anime did not end the whole story it ended in the middle of the story. So far the manga has not ended so we don't know if they end up together but there had been a news from Anime Insider that the Inuyasha manga is going to end in early 2007 so I guess give it a few months and then pick up the manga and you'll be able to find out how the story ends.

ah first off i love inuyasha!!
okay so the deal with the anime is that it ended in open story. the last episode didnt have any type of conclusion to it cept inuyasha promising that he wont let kagome get hurt anymore and that he will hunt down naraku. yea the ending had no specifics on how inuyasha and kagomes relationship will go. i must say that at that point in time tho kikiyo was FINALLY dead. so that leaves inuyasha with only kagome! yea the last episode was pretty gay... they walked off into the sunset....
so in conclusion: inuyasha and kagome were not a couple at the end of the anime!
ah but thank god the MANGA is still going!!!!! yea hope this helps!
