to answer all ur questions. the iphone looks amazing and is definately worth buying. i was a little turned off by the proce but, i actually found a site that's offering cheaper ones. if you put in your zip code at http://doiop.com/myiphone , they'll give you info on shipments and quantity of iphones at the stores

the iPhone is not being released until June/July 2007. you can see a video about it on apple.com
