I have been around mostly lower average income people all my life,family,friends,co workers.We live in a small community,I know very few people who are not happy,and who are always searching.

yes it is a learned state and it takes a concious decision to go to that state.

happiness is the state of being when wants, needs and desires are fullfilled. I know very few people wjho are truly happy. you can be content and still not be happy, you can be satisfied but still be unhappy

Having no desires is simply being the happiness that you inherently are.
Desires cause seeking; once the desire is met, seeking stops, and you can resume simply being.

(No time is this fact more apparent than when you have addictions. Granted your addiction: it is a moment without desire.)

most people just don't know how to be completely happy. they always think that if something good has happened, there must be something bad.. maybe people just forgot what trust means???
