Depends what type of career you want to have. If you want to get into management, consulting, or open your own business the MBA is better. If you want to do technical track work in programming or hardware engineering, then the Computer Science masters would be better.

Frankly, if you already have some work experience, I would recommend the MBA because it will help you be more rounded and stand out more from your potential peer gorup.

If you plan to be a manager get an MBA. If you plan to be a manager in the IT field get a Masters in Computer Science. I'm an Associate Director in the IT field and I have an MBA with a slight IT concentration, a BS on Information Systems and Electronics Technology, and an AS in Electronics. I'm working on my 2nd BS in Intelligence and National Security.

So it all depends on your career path. Me, I have no clue what I want to do, I just get to go to school for free.

It depends what you want to do with your life?

If you want a career in corporate or business like offices, the MBA is probably a better bet.

If you plan to enter academia and teach as a professor, the MSC is likely a requirement.

Depends on what you want to do. I would recommend the MBA. You will have more options available. Especially if you want to get into teaching at a community college.

Do you actually have any managerial journey? I wager no longer, so that you mine as well keep on with what you're presently doing you spoiled brat.
