its a screw you turn to "bleed" the radiator

The "bleed screw" is at the "top" of the radiator to bleed out the "air" not the water, for better operating. This should be done every season to ensure good operation.

If your going to change out your radiator fluid than you would need to drain the exsiting fluid. This is done with the bleed screw. Its found near the bottom of the radiator and can often be loosened with you bare hands. Like mentioned below, do not over tighten because it will break and than leak.

thats the screw on / near the bottom of the radiator so you can flush the system
usually a 10 mm or grab it with a pair of pliers but dont over tighten cause it will break
