In my 10 team fantasy league, i need points as well as assist.

I have Granger, but am afriad that he will not produce the numbers i need. Is Ellis a better pick up? I know he can score, but will he get enough play time to average his average especially when Jason Richarson comes back?

And Jarrett Jack started the season really well, but seems as though he is almost a bench player that starts. He doesnt play half as well as he did earlier this season.

Is graonger better on paper then ellis?

PLEASE HELP!!

Well, Ellis is averaging 17 ppg w/ 4 assists and Granger is at 14 w/ 4 rebs. The problem, as you pointed out, is that when Richardson comes back, a lot of minutes will be taken away from Ellis (even though he is a point guard). G.S just got Jackson from the Pacers, plus they have Baron and Pietrus. Granger might be better on the overall for fantasy, but I'd say keep Ellis if you're looking for assists. He'll still be the #1 backup for Baron Davis so he'll get some minutes. Just expect the 17 ppg to go down.

Let me know if you have other options besides just these two. There may be something better out there. Good Luck.

Well, between those 3 guys, I'd take Ellis. He's the most reliable right now. You can always add/drop if his minutes start to drop with the lineup changes looming.

You should look at your waivers though. Some key starters that were injured have recently come back and started to play well. Calderon from TOR (while Ford is out), Cassell LAC is doing well, Delonte West of BOS, just to name a few. Even then, I'd trade or drop Granger and Jack to another team for some help in other areas while Ellis fills in for now at PTS and AST

Monta Ellis is the next Allen Iverson. Although his minutes and stats will drop when Richardson comes back, he will still be better than Granger, so I would keep him on your team. If you are in a keeper league, you should definatley keep Eliis over Granger without any doubt.

Take Ellis. Who knows how healthy J Rich will be. He lost some hops due to the injuries. Plus Golden State has too many wing players. Another trade will go down

yes granger is the best of those three you mentioned. he is heating up. neither will help you with assists of granger or ellis, and jack won't help with points. i had the same dilemma with different players, i picked up matt carroll
