Yes...but it nearly a perpetual thing with me, and in my case I know where it comes from (being raised in a family where the parents were messed up, violent, abusive, neglectful, etc.). I can remember being nine or ten years old and really thinking "aw no, you mean I'm human like *these people*??"

So yeah, the thought is perpetual, the only thing that changes about this "not belonging" thing is the scale and depth of it. On my good days I can accept "not belonging" to all the crap that was in my life--most of my family, organized religion, mainstream politics, team sports, being "one of the guys".

But on my bad days I really think I have no home, no country, no family, no friends....nothing and nobody works right and so I don't even feel like I belong *on this earth*.

Truth is though. Most of my days are in between. Not good days, not bad days, just.....days. -_-

But even that stinks....it happens too often, where I *KNOW* for a fact that other people do not live this way.

And yes, I still fight it, but lately, I do wonder just *what* it is I am fighting for?

Love? Not sure it exists. Peace? Ditto.

Just saying....thanks for your time! Hope I wasn't too annoying.

Yeah...
As an Asian in Australia with Aussie ppl, I feel like that sometimes during a few social occasions...
As a guy who is intellectual and does'nt play much sports, I've felt isolated when I see my friends playing soccer, tennis or cricket...
As a very shy, introverted and quiet guy, in many social events I feel out of place...
As an intellectual who knows a lot, I feel detached from lots of ppl because ppl don't understand my thought processes...

So in response to your question, YES!
