Attracted to geeks?

I mean I'm attracted to all types of guys but I really have a thing for geeks and nerds. (more geeks though) Is there anyway to make geeks talk to you? The only guys that will come and talk to me are guys that seem like players. Ahh I really like shy geeks/nerds ^_^ Anyway I just don't know how to attract them, because I'm fairly cute.(or I've been told but those could be lies)

omg just talk to them, you never know if a person is a geek or w/e if u just judge by their looking, cos i looks like a nerd but i hang out with hoodbum and listen to rap still do well in school

just talk to him, you will find geek/nerd quite funny sometimes

There are plenty of us who find ourselves attracted to the shy, quiet types - nerds and geeks, if you will. Once you get one to open up, they can be wonderful friends and more. Unlike the players, who are wrapped up in and full of themselves, the geeky nerdy types often have a great understanding and compassion for others.

If you are waiting for a particular one to make the first move you may be waiting for a long time. Try to find out his interests and things he likes to do. Find some excuse to approach him, introduce yourself, and start a conversation.

Valentines Day is in a couple weeks, send him a card. Better yet - hand deliver it and tell him it's from a secret admirer. Just be sure you sign it.

I married a nerd! So, I'd like to think I know somewhat about what you're saying.

I met my now husband online and chatted with with until we met in person 5 months later.

Why don't you just ask for their emails and chat with them online. They might not be the best talkers on a one on one basis, but they can really open up online. Also, they're just naturally shy guys, so don't expect them to open up right away. Just be nice and helpful and sweet.

Nerds and geeks are awesome, when they fall for you...they fall hard!!!

Good luck, I think you've made the right choice. I believe geeks and nerds are going to be the only successful people that are going to run the world in the future, so have your pick on the next Bill Gates and who knows, you might be the next millionaire wife in the future!

i wish more people were like you.

think of us as puppies. perferably a scare puppy and your the stranger. what do you do when you see that cute puppy that want's to be your friend but is scared? you offer your hand, you talk gently to it, you give it a treat, you pet them lightly.

same with geeks, shy, etc. talk to them, show you have and know about computers. where shirts that have geekness on it - linux, whatever. i'm surrounded by mostly morons, they don't know anything about computers, and when they find out that i'm on it more than going out i always get the comments back.

but i feel at home when i give a star trek reference and they know what i'm talking about.

if you can do that, softly touching them for physical contact. you'll win them over. but you have to be consitant. i set up models of consistancy, and if you keep changing your methods, it'll just confuse.

just be interested in them, and ask them the questions - they won't ask you. you'll have to take the lead the entire time.

I totally feel you on this one! I get the wannabe thugs, etc. But I want the guy who's smart and can carry on a great conversation. My solution, go to an internet cafe. When I'm working on a paper and I have my sources spread out all over the table, the geekier guys seem to be more attracted to me! Players are intimidated by intelligent women (so they'll avoid you)

The geeks will only talk to you if you talk to them. Start a conversation to them about what interests them (video games probably) and then go on from there. They probably don't get asked to dates too often so don't expect them to know everything about dating girls. Just be nice to them and talk to them and you should be fine.

Be assertive if you are looking at a particular guy and find out what ke likes so he can more easily open up since he will have something he knows about to talk to you about.
