silver eye shadow are brown eye's best friend.. just put in the middle of the lid and blend with the colour of ur prominant eye shadow.
bronzers are good for you too... just dab right below your cheekbone

I probably have the same skintone as you (I'm indian and I have medium to light skin) and colors that look best on me are golish one, and light pink (for eyes)

you could try going on makeup websites, like clinique, almay, maybeline, neutragena, and see if they have a quiz to find yours out (most do)
