I used to love that band, but you're right about them being so dysfunctional.
The latest news is that they are getting ready to hit the road with David Lee Roth singing, and Eddie's son Wolfie playing bass, instead of Michael Anthony.
They just should've let it be after the last fiasco with Sammy Hagar a few years back.
Maybe Eddie and Alex should form a BRAND NEW group, with a different name and see if they can capture the magic again.

Maybe because they kickass. Van Halen is one of the best bands of alltime. O and by the way they are back together and starting on a 40 city concert tour.

I agree. They were a good band once upon a time. But anymore it's just a band trying to recreate something that they will never get back. They'll be a shell of what they used to be, just like Guns and Roses and all these other re-treads.
