Yes, it seems to follow the story behind it pretty well too. At the end of the movie there is some ducumentary footage of the true story. Much of it is even word for word.
Was a pretty good movie in my opinion.

It is a pretty good movie. It is also based on a true story, also reminds me of "Remember the Titans." Go for it and watch it.
