Garacius, you are the closest, in my opinion, to being correct.
the mindset of a religious person is that they are going to heaven and everyone else is going to hell and that God himself needs that person tp spread his will. therefore youve got people who are messed up in the head by religion and they are willing to go to any lengths to spread that religion beause they think GOD is telling them to.
the nature of religion is to spread. as long as tere is ANY resistance there wont be peace.

Since Islam, Judaism, Christianity and the Baha'i Faith all teach peace, I would have to say yes.

Certainly if we insist on act and persistance within boundaries and some reason to coexist. Being naive enough they coexist and abide into reason to bring hope and mutual understanding to different communities, however unfit culture and tradition are.

History tells us that religion is used to rule and control population, religion as such is not a problem, intolerance and bigotry are. Can we change human psyche? I don't think so.

I myself have promoted Jesus to people. If they aren't interested, I don't kidnap them and bag their head before cutting it off. True, some people on all sides are crazy (al Sadr, bin Laden, Jim Jones, David Koresh, etc), but I think most of them can agree to disagree.

I feel that religion is only a title. Were all human and if we can use that as a lauching off point, peace may be possible.

No.
Too many of them isolate and divide people.
It is impossible to compromise when you think your way is the only way! That belief exists in every religion.

Yes, but peace and two religions can't. Not for very long anyway!

Until we all agree on one thing (which would be boring to the extreme), it will never happen. Aw, boo-hoo, sucks for you, blah blah blah. I will continue to be ignorant and happy.
