hi, i found a small lump on the inside of my anus. sometimes my anus itches and i have seen some blood on the tissue sometimes. any idea what this could be?

i thought it was a hemorroid but i read something about anal cancer and wanted to make sure it wasn't that.

You have a hemorrhoid. Go to the drug store or Walmart and buy some Preparation H or some other hemorrhoid cream and use it according to the directions. You might also want to buy those pre-moistened round cleaning pads called "Tucks" to clean the area before you use the cream. That will help with the pain and itch.
Now to prevent and help hemorrhoids, you need to use a stool softener, which you can also buy in the laxative section of the drug store. They are small capsules you take two or thee times a day. Either that or drink a fiber laxative, which will immediately give you more fiber in your digestive system and help with a "smoother elimination" if you know what I mean. There's some great-tasting orange flavor fiber laxatives - - - one called Citricel - - - you mix it with cold water and it tastes like the orange drink, Tang. You have to drink it fast though, because it doesn't fully dissolve. This should do the trick.
If you do not think it is a hemorrhoid, it could also be an anal fissure ( I think that's the term), and it is best if a doctor saw you for this. They are more painful and almost like a small boil and the doc might want to give you an antibiotic to treat it with.

It sounds like a hemorrhoid. there are creams etc that can help with the itching and the bleeding. IF it continues to be bothersome go to your doc just to make sure and although it doesnt sound like this next thing would be an option for you there is also surgery for those who have severe hemorrhoids. It is called a hemorrhoidectomy.

get a tube of drawing ointment on it n what that will do is cause the boil to erupt n eventually heal

if you bleed regular from your anus it could be a condition called poolups....im not sure how trhat is spelled but check it out!
