....but, it is closing up and The scare is almost showing. I have one part of my incision that is still kind of open. It is only an inch long. I see some scabing and i was looking closer and touched the end of it and it was what looked like a string, but i was told it is the stiches that dislove on there own. I pulled at it a little and it came out more. Does this mean my stiches are coming out? Should I wait it out until my appointment on thursday?

this is normal, no your stitches are not coming out, there is extra string in there for movement inside, they are actually knotted on the inside, and will not come out, the string will desolve inside as normal, and if it makes you feel better snip the string close to your incision to stop playing with it (as you will since it is there). I answer this with high confidence lol, I have had 6 lapriscopic surgeries, and my first surgery was just as that, it was healing nicely but one edge seemed to be open still with a hint of string out, I kept pulling on it until it was sore (the incision), I finally went in to see the Dr. becuase it scared me, and those are the answers he gave me, he told me it was normal to stop picking and he snipped it.
Good luck and no worries, just wait until your appointment, your fine :-)

It's not a big deal but here's what I want you to do: Wash your hands. Use two of the smallest size bandaids and pinch the lips of the incision together until they meet. Put the bandaids on crosswise it so that it holds the incision edges together. Keep this area clean and dry. On Moday, give your doctor a call and report this.

Call your doctor's office and ask. I think you're probably fine until Thursday, but call anyway and make sure.

that happened to me, don't mess with it, let the doc see it, they may need to pull them out, even though they dissolve
