I would chose a lightweight coverage for your foundation, maybe go with just powder. As for your eyes try light colors that are soft yet flattering. Also one thing you can do is go to the mall and visit one of the department stores that has makeup counters. Ask the sales clerk to help show you ways to apply your makeup in a more flattering manner. I am sure someone would love to help you out.

It all depends on what type of skin you have. I have very dry skin, and any time I put makeup on without a moisturizer it looks cakey and gross. Also, if you have acne-prone skin you may want to use a base that has more coverage. I found that for people with relatively clear skin, use any type of tinted moisturizer, concealer and powder. If the moisturizer isn't enough coverage go and get a medium-coverage base and use a lot of moisturizer.
Pay attention to your eye makeup as well. Use natural tones, and if you are going for color go sheer. Only use mascara if you need it. Eyeliner should be applied so it looks natural. If you put on too much by the end of the day you will look like a racoon.
Lipstick is something that everyone should pay attention to. When someone wears a shade that does not suit them it ruins the whole look. Try to go for sheer (natural is always best!) and try to match any color as closely as possible to your skintone.

Every persons skin is different so I really couldn't tell you but I can say that MAC is the most common used because it works for most peoples faces. You should just try a couple of different ones and find the best one for you! All you can do it put every thing on light and dont use dark eye shadows and go easy on the eye liner if you wear it!

Whatever make up you wear, don't apply a lot and make sure you are wearing the right colors for your skin tone.
Don't mix any cools with warms and don't wear heavy or dark eyeshadow and lipstick.
You want your make up to look natural, like you have none on!

Hope that helps. Have a make up night with friends and experiment!
You can even have a Mark or AVON rep come to your house and throw you a make over party! Those are a ton of fun!
If you want some help from a proffesional! :)

Use subtle make up. Curl your eyelashes and use mascara. Try switching from black eyeliner to brown eyeliner (if you use eyeliner at all) it looks more natural. try not using cover up or foundation, it usually looks caked on. Im not exactly sure what kind of make up you wear now, but just try using less or use lighter colors than you currently do so it looks less noticable.

Contact a Mary Kay consultant in your area and ask her to do a facial for you. You can try different colors and looks until you find one you like. Just go to www.marykay.com and use the consultant finder.

DON"T put on all this black eyeliner and mascara
Use fun shades, less harsh ones

It looks so bad on some girls
And stay away from lipstick, use lipgloss or something matte for your lips

Hope it helps! :)
