I wish I could say that I was a humanitarian like you, devoted to making the world a better place. But my scope is much smaller. I feel a need to express myself and will continue to through my artwork and music. I suppose in some small way I make the world a better place by touching others with my paintings (paintings that I have sold or given away as gifts I've been told make an impact on their lives & become a part of their home) & my songs (the honesty and rawness of my lyrics seems to touch a chord with people. I have the courage to sing about love, loss, despair, anger & by expressing my personal feelings, I tap into universal emotions that others may feel but not have the courage or means to express). I'll never be a doctor or a missionary. My role is as an artist. I think we all must do what we are meant to do and the world would be a better, more harmonious place. Now if I could just make a living at it & quit my "regular" job I'd be all set...

I'm going to be a mom, which will make a difference towards mankind, medicine, make the world a better place, however there is only complete harmony from time to time and definitely no tranquil settings (except when they finally go to bed)! But good luck to you!

I work for a non-profit, we are working on Homeless Outreach and Prevention; Preventing Child Abuse and Neglect; and Teaching Essential Life Skills.
If you truly want to make a difference then you have to get involved. If you can't work full time at a cause, then volunteer. If you don't like the state of the world today, then do something about it. Now would be a good time to get started, we seem to need the help.

I like this one. I am doing the most important thing I will ever do in my life.
I once saw something but couldn't see it. Three days I went there, before finally getting a glimpse of what was hiding.
I found what was imppossible to exist, yet it is there. Two years now I secretly go there with others to learn anything we can about it. We are close to the end.
If you ever seek truth in something, it can be found.

I want to help my family. Write some books, find enough money to spent on my hobbies. Have plenty of good time. Learn more about improving my life and share the information to other people.

For the rest of my life I'm living by the grace of God with the woman I love. I have this by His love and His concern for me. I will serve those whom I can when I can by God's grace and my faith for the rest of my life I will do the best I can with what I have. And I will do it with all of my humanity.....that means I will screw up on a daily basis but I will not give up on any basis.

I am a student of people and their beliefs. I believe by studying the way things appear to be with people we can come to a place of understanding of humanity and love and the commonality of humanity not the divisions.
