Love-shyness is when you are socially withdrawn and are too shy to be with opposite sex. They tend to very strong feels of anxiety and never goes out to socialize with people. They desperately want a relationship but they can't due to extreme shyness. It affects mainly heterosexual men who have never had a past history of dating and are still virgins. They have estimated that 1.5% of men are considered love-shy.

OK.. But I don't understand is lack of dating history and being a virgin cause or only a symptom of love-shyness??

Interesting...I do know of people who have social anxiety problems (I think I am one of them.) That is a bit extreme.
