Since she won yesterday I would say that they are 100%.....sorry posted that and then saw the "what were"...had read it as "what are"....she was I believe 12/1 at the opening of the tournament and 3.5 + in the finals....sorry for the error.....

I think her odds were 20 to 1... Sharapova's were 3 to 1.

Since all the best players have dropped out of competition or going to retire, I say her odds were good.
