As you have asked this in YA, I presume you have the Yahoo Toolbar on your screen. If you don't have it, you can have it installed by checking with Yahoo Help.
One of the options in this Toolbar is 'Reference'. If you click on this, a page would open which gives you access to a dictionary, thesaurus, encyclopedia, synonyms, etc. You can click on the choice you want to explore, and type in the required word.
You have mentioned about defintion of a word. The dictionary would give you the meanings of a word, and not definitions.

sure, cuz i like to learn each and every of the definitions (dissimilar definitions can each and every so often replace the meaning & I in many situations do unlike using words that somebody can mistakenly prepare the incorrect definition) & to double examine my spelling... each and every so often i do no longer likely understand or bear in techniques or do only no longer understand... I truthfully have my collegiate dictionary on my kitchen cart! i'm a exceedingly above average speller cuz i've got constantly double checked... i will examine my own typos without a dictionary, tho... it is not cuz i won't be able to spell; it extremely is only I do dumb typos... do no longer variety like i take advantage of to.. ???
