Yeah, I'm into the reading questions tonight... Haha.
It depends on what I'm reading, my mood, and the things I'm listening to. Usually, I prefer music that I like... Silence seems to ring in my ears sometimes and that distracts me. However, if I get really engrossed in a book, I prefer silence.

Most of the time I'm listening to whatever is on TV while I'm reading but if I'm listening to music then I listen to my favorite local station. When I'm really engrossed in a book it doesn't matter what noise is around me because I can pretty much tune everything else out.

If it's just me and a book, I'll listen to classical. If everyone else is around, nothing.

Indian music its relaxing and I put the volume on low so you can hear it but not to loud. :)
