We want to build a 2 storey extention on our house, we have about 25 feet from the gable end, an wondering how much it might cost.

Not a lot of change from £30k without any furnishing.

You don't say where you are, so to be safe allow a starting price of Â£30k.

Incidentally, don't take the cheapest quote. It's not worth it. Take the BEST quote..Savinga couple of thousand now will cost you much more in the future.

don't know where you live but you will pay between 80 to 100 pounds per square foot ...more in big cities
