Yes it was...
But it might not be the teacher's fault, completely.
Often times they have to teach whatever is in the lesson plan.
If you are friends with the person who made these outbursts, you might want to talk to him and explain to him that he might win the battle (embarrassing the teacher or making her angry) but ultimately, the teacher has the power to win the WAR by failing him in this class.
I do hope that the teacher is not one of those vindictive types, because if he is, your 'friend' might be sitting in the same boring class NEXT YEAR!

It is mean to tell a teacher that his/her class is boring, you might be put in detention. So don't to that thing. Well, some teachers are not that boring, some teachers say funny things and let the children have a break and laugh. Others let their students have an activity. But if your teacher is not really that funny, just concentrate in your studies and just don't mind how boring your class is, just remember that what is important is to study well and have good grades.

I teach Spanish and I would appreciate it if someone would tell me if there were problems with my class. I go out of my way to keep the kids involved, but sometimes the younger ones do tend to get distracted.
I think like Floyd Landis there said, do it in a tactful way, don't yell it out! But, I think somebody should tell him, maybe he just doesn't get it....

Mean? Mean? The main concern here might better be: Is it foolish? And the answer is a resounding "Yes!" That teacher is the one handing out the grades.

It's mean, but not worth wasting 5 points over it. :P If a teacher asks for your input, give it honestly. If he doesn't, he must not care.

i guess if they are boring you should go for a more subtle attempt, I don't think I would risk my grade by yelling" I HATE YOUR CLASS!" I would hint around at it.
