I have talk to a person in my building who hangs up the phone when he hears something he does not think is appropriate. I find it very rude. For example , if you say SOMBODY TOLD ME ....HE SAYS "WHO""" YOU ANSWER ...somebody and he hangs up the phone. ANothe example ...you start to say.... I don't wan to be ....and he hangs up the phone in the middle of the conversation.
He walks past you and ignores you and says "hello " to the person stand next to you and does not acknowledge you at all even if you say "hello". All this behaviour has gotten him into trouble and now the Higher Power above is listening and people don't bother with him...but where does a person learn this stupid behaviour and what does it accomplish in the end but making him feel superior.
At first i thought it was my mobile phone peeping out and I had not recharged it , then I realized it was him hanging up all the time when he heard something he did not like. What behaviour??!!!

A better question is, "Why do you continue to talk to this guy?"

Your description of the circumstance is a bit confusing. Why do you have to talk to him? Who is the "Higher Power above" who is listening?

He may be rude, but perhaps he just doesn't want to be involved in in the politics or gossip in your building. Maybe his cell phone is the one "peeping out."

He sounds like a person who has a lot of unusual quirks and mannerisms. If I were you, I would limit my interactions and conversations with him; on the phone and otherwise.

Some people choose to behave like children when they hear something they do not want to, or they ignore what it being said. He just does not seem like a very socially adept person and your best choice would be to be friendly from a distance. Good luck and have a good night.

He obviously doesn't want to talk with you (or whomever else he hangs up on), so don't call anymore. Everyone has their own "weirdisms" and things they're dealing with in life.
