They take my significant other's income tax returns and give it to his ex. They also garnish more of his monthly income than he actually owes per month. Talk to someone at family court about this to make sure you get the money you are owed.

Do you have your child support collected by the state? I love it. They will go to bat for you and collect it with no cost to you. They can take professional licenses, garnish his/her wages, take the tax returns, basically anything.
The State of Oklahoma has worked mine over real good. The problem with him is he has a Commercial Driver's License. They can pick him up ANYWHERE if his license is suspended. They will do it too. Won't even think about it a minute. He has BEGGED me to take it away from them. Do I look STUPID??? NOooooooooooo.
That ain't happening. The very next month I would be just like the rest of his bills, late, unpaid, or just sorry I don't have enough money this week.. maybe next week. And he knows it too. For me the state keeps him paying and honest.

They might do that, and they might also garnish his wages. But you have to report that he is in arrears. Make sure you file a complaint!
