Ive searched and searched the internet, yet all I can find on is that he contributed to the theory of heredity in 'some' way. Is this way unkown? If not, please explain

That would be Jean-Baptiste Pierre Antoine de Monet, Chevalier de Lemarck.

He was one of the first to develop the theory of physical traits passing down via hereditry.

Also the first person to use the term Biology

His contribution was a theory that was later discredited called the "inheritance of acquired traits" which is now considered the forerunner of the the theory of evolution. It was pretty much ignored during his lifetime. He was before Darwin.

Basically, he was the first to say there was some law that caused heredity, it didnt happen by accident.
