hi, I would like to know how to have it so that it does not auto select the last line drawn. When I go to draw a new line it edits the old one.
I am using the brush tool.
thanks.

thanks, I found that if I double click the paint brush I can have it so it does not stay selected.

Thanks for the quick answer. I will pick yours as the best in a little while, (there is a time restraint stopping me from doing so now)

OK, I could be way off on this one since it's been awhile since I had this problem myself, but here's my suggestions: sometimes that happens because you try to draw the next line too close to the old one so try drawing your new stroke farther away from the old. Also, maybe try de-selecting the brush tool in-between strokes (a pain I know) by selecting the arrow tool and clicking somewhere. And I don't know if you can turn off that feature or not, unless it's somewhere under Preferences and I doubt that. Sorry I can't help more.
