Death. it seems to me that it's a poem about someone who's a workaholic and they spent too much time away from their baby then the child passed away. or it could be that the cold hand is time and the parent never spent time with the child while they were young and now they are grown and the parent will never get 2 watch the child grow up.

alluring imagery. The sentiment is sparkling, yet no longer overdone. i love it that she would not hit you intense jointly with her thoughts. She desires to tighten up somewhat on the kind so as that with somewhat modifying, she will have a perfect poem. I extraordinarily like the way she has engaged each and every of the senses and presented each and everything jointly to equivalent love, companionship and protection.

The "cold hand" in this poem is the cold hand of death.
Why else would the person feel such regret?

I think cold hands means is this case: When you are outside flying a kite, your hands might get cold. Or, cold hands could mean a stranger. It says snatched you away, and that could mean someone who is cold hearted, or stranger grabbed you. Hope this helps.

The cold hand of death. "Cold hand" .... meaning death took her. Either that or a guy without any mittens.

I think it's past relations, old unavoidable memories that pull people away from you.
