Everyone's had to stop for a troupe of ducks crossing the road at some stage or another. How can they do it so bravely- or is it carelessness or indifference?

They don't grasp that its coming that fast, or that it's even coming in their direction. Just because there is a road, doesn't mean to them that a car goes on it, and if you are thinking that they have seen cars go on that road before, really fast, they just don't remember. Chickens can't remember anything past the last 5 minutes or something, so ducks are probably similar. In a world with less technology, ducks would never have to worry about getting hit by a car. And they certainly wouldn't put their children in danger on purpose. Bravery is an emotion that ducks are incapable of feeling, and I don't think it's indifference either, they are just not smart enough to know the dangers of crossing the road. Most animals aren't.

ignorance is bliss.
Not sure how to say duck in 'quacks'.
I wouldnt think that a duck would know a car from a tree or a rock.
I would think that they sense fear when the come in contact with a natural predator....everything else is a car or a tree.
(glad you stop) it is so cute too me to see ducks crossing the street

Now right here's one for you: do not Step on the ducks 3 adult adult males die jointly in an coincidence and bypass to heaven. even as they get there, St. Peter says, "We only have one rule right here in heaven: do not step on the ducks!" so as that they enter heaven, and particular sufficient, there are ducks in each and every single position. it is practically no longer attainable now to not step on a duck, or maybe in the experience that they war their perfect to stay away from them, the first guy by threat steps on one. alongside comes St. Peter with the ugliest woman he has ever seen. St. Peter chains them jointly and says, "Your punishment for stepping on a duck is to spend eternity chained to the grotesque woman!" the subsequent day, the second one guy steps by threat on a duck, and alongside comes St. Peter, who would not depart out an element, and with him is yet another extemely grotesque woman. He chains them consisting of the same admonishment as for the first guy. The thrid guy has stated all this and under no circumstances desirous to be chained for all eternity to an grotesque woman, is very, VERY careful the position he steps. He manages to bypass months without stepping on any ducks, yet quicker or later St. Peter comes as a lot as him with the most beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes on: an noticeably tall, tan, curvaceous, horny blonde. St. Peter chains them jointly without saying a note. the guy feedback, "i ask your self what I did to deserve being chained to you for all of eternity?" She says, "i do not study you, yet I stepped on a duck!"
