Does anyone think they can make it to the sweet sixteen?

The Irish have certainly faltered without McAlarney at the helm. I think the suspension was justified (contrary to Mrs. McAlarney's claim), but it will obviously hurt ND down the stretch. They have a rather soft Big East schedule, so they'll make the tourney, but I don't think they'll get past the second round. Now the hockey team on the other hand...

I think with McAlarney, no doubt.

But now, it depends on the teams they play in their region. I think though that we will because we got 3 good post players (Kurz, Zeller, and Harangody) which is key because somewhere down the road we will have to play an Oden, Hansbrough, Noah, etc. Just look at what we did against Hibbert of Georgetown, we held him to under 20 points and he is averaging well over that. G-Town only beat us because they shot amazingly. Luck.....

But anyways, we got 2 great shooters to go along with that (Falls and Carter) and a deep bench along side that. I think we'll sneak in.

I just hope they don't choke their way out of a tourny bid. Anything cane happen once they make it, and they should get to the second round. Sweet 16 isn't a huge stretch for them, but we'll see how it goes.
