Communism has been tried in many different countries. The result has always been the same in every single instance, without a single exception whatsoever. The economy gets wiped out and 99% of the population becomes impoverished. This is so bad that a significant portion of the population starves. Witness the widespread cannibalism in north korea as people eat the dead, in the hopes of surviving one more day.

That's not to say that the people don't work. They do work and very hard, under conditions that amount to slavery. Those that complain are beaten. Those that complain twice are murdered. However, all that labor is put toward insane ends. Rather than grow food, they grow opium. Rather than build roads, they make guns. Rather than make homes and communities, they build nuclear weapons. The goal of every single communist government has been world domination. Actually, it's more like Armageddon. The idea here is that, since it really isn't possible for them to rule the world, they plan to destroy it.

Communism is heinously evil. The fact that every single communist government has killed millions of innocent people in genocides for little more reason than for the fun of it, bears grim testament to this fact.

You would be hard pressed to find a single, solitary thing about any communist government that ever existed that was good in any way whatsoever.

Contrast that with capitalism. Capitalism has basically been responsible for pulling humanity out of the dark ages. Anything of worth in the modern world, came out of the fruits of capitalism. All wealth was created using this system. Wealth is the ability of a society to have enough that it isn't living hand to mouth. In the modern world, if we have a bad year producing food, people don't starve, because of wealth. Prior to the invention of capitalism, this situation did not exist. A bad year meant that a portion of the population died off because there was not enough to go around.

Under the circumstances, I feel perfectly comfortable as defining communism as one of the most heinously evil things ever created by humanity and capitalism as one of the most benevolent and good.

It's important to understand that, every time communism is sold to another fresh batch of idiots, they always say the same thing. We are going to do REAL communism now. Then the murder, mayhem, torture, slavery and starvation begin. That IS the real communism, lol. All the rhetoric are nothing more than bald faced lies designed to trick stupid people. Most, who fall for it, die horribly, along with their families.

Capitalism is the most efficient use of limited resources, and provides the most freedom, and choice or products. Capitalism tend to lead to wage disparities, but that can be reduced a little thru government policy to reduce the downside for the least able to compete in the marketplace.
Also, Communism was never good to begin with because the government is bureaucracy, and cannot adjusts taste in comsumer goods to meet needs, and the USSR had food, comsumer good shortages it was allover the news in the early 90s. The younger generation under 25 people did grow up seeing the shortages of bread on tv during the time USSR was still a country. USSR people used to wait 8 hours in line freezing just to get loaf or bread, or just some eggs, or cooking oil. Commuism should be in dust bin now, but Chavez is going to repeat the same mistake, and it will take 15 years undo his mess. Scandivans, Anglo knew the goverment could not meet comsumer needs; therefore left production of 90% of goods in the private marketplace. There are better ways to reduce disparities of wealthy than communist style command economy. Its called progressive taxation, but still taxation has trade-offs, but I dont see not benefit to commusim what so far.

Its not just my opinion and it doesn't matter where you're talking about. Communism has never worked anywhere. If by capitalism you mean free enterprize its worked everywhere its tried.

The reason is simple. Free enterprise allows market forces (demand and supply) to determine how resources will be used. The result is the most efficient method for allocating resources to their highest valued use. In short people get what they want and use their purchasing power to cast their vote for them.

In a communist system resources are allocated by government bureaucrats. You don't get what you want you get what the bureaucrats say you should have. There are no incentives to improve the quality or increase production efficiency. There are no advantages, some say you are guaranteed food and shelter. History indicates that is not the case. Starving Koreans and people in Zimbabwe say there are no guarantees other than if you starve so will a lot of other people. Thats small consulation.

Nither Capitalism nor Communism in their full practice have never been acheived. Communism on paper sounds great but it does not work. China and Russia tried it and they failed at it. For a nation to grow and prosper and be able to succeed it needs an economy. Communism is the universal distribution of goods divided between the people. Capitalism is what we have in the USA to a point, although the Democrats are communists in their actions. America will be a communist nation if liberal policies take over. Free enterprise is a great example of Capitalism.

The best for what? Late capitalism is destroying the planet and there are never being any real communist state to compare its effects. I believe that a system based on profit derived from wasting habits, wild consumption, and rampant individualism is not a good recipe for a healthy society and a healthy environment.

You are sort of comparing apples and oranges.
You need to compare Socialism and Capitalism, as those are economic, not political, constructs.
