Mike Peca and Carlo Colaiacovo from the Leafs were both born in Toronto. Brad Ference from the Flames was born in Calgary. Ryan Malone from the Penguins was born in Pittsburgh and yes, Fernando Pisani from the Oilers was born in Edmonton, like Siren said. Danny Richmond from Chicago has played a handful of games for the Hawks this season, but he's currently in the minors. A lot of French players do play for Montreal, but none playing there at the moment were born in Montreal.

Most of Montreal players come from either Montreal or somewhere in Quebec. They seem to be the most dedicated to local players (the french thing). I think Willie Mitchell from the Canucks is from the Vancouver area?
