Hello
I'm a guy who wants to be a soccer player. To be professional I need to keep fit. I recently find that jogging is boring.
How do I make jogging really fun to do?

Hey! I have been playing soccer for over 10 years and I know your problem! I usually listen to music, take different routes, bring a friend along- adds competition to see who can win, or run on a treadmill at the gym and watch tv. The tv will keep you distracted if you turn up the volume because you won't hear yourself breathing (same goes for the music). Hope I helped!

There are a few things you can do...
1) set goals.
For this, run the same route - and time yourself. Try to better your time.
Alternatively, try to add a little more to your route each week.
More on goals - have realistic target amounts of kilometers you want to achieve, and add a little every now & then. Try to hit these.
2) Change routes every now & then - a change of scenery is something that will help keep you running.
3) Get some kind of portable mp3 player... I use my iPod, and listen to podcasts and/or music. I especially like getting a podcast on sports that goes for about the time I want to be out there, and go for the duration of that.

Good luck on the pro-football (soccer) thing!

jogging will become fun when u have someone to jog with, meaning a company. we jog during on vacation together with my dad and my kid. its fun, u'l never notice u have been jogging around for 2 hours already. while jogging, its where we discuss plans and other things. we laugh and talk....its something we look forward to in the morning. after coffee or tea, we hit the grounds around the resort where we stay.

After a bit of running, dance around, connect with the crowd. Talk with them. Laugh with them
