Im ashamed to ask this.I was with hateful men that really did not care about V-DAY.To them it was a waste of money and just another day.I have been in a loving relationship and will be married for 4 years next month. My husband would never let me buy him a thing because he said he will show me how a lady should be treated on holidays and V-DAY.I want to get him something but I dont have the slightest idea on what to get him. Please help.

first of all, congradulations on finding a good man. second, i'm not sure of ur price range, but gifts that would mean the most would be hobby/interest related gifts. if he's into golf, get him a round at a local golf course,or a new golf set, etc. if ur more interested in sentimental gifts, u can make coupons free for one back rub, one kiss, one night w/o the kids/phone/friends, just u n him, etc. redeemable whenever he likes. hope this helps .Happy Valentine's day!!

That's up to you but coming from a girls stand point we all love surprises. If you just want to stay on an easy pace for now why not get her a card and stick a bow (pretty) on the card and on the inside ask her to pick a day you can go to lunch together. That's better than nothing and shows you still care. Id love it.

Simplicity-
A nice quiet candlelit dinner at home. Watch some classic romantic Hollywood movies. Have a nice warm bubble bath together.
Gift: give him a handwritten letter placed nicely in a bottle.
note: place the letter in the bottle in the bath before getting in
Very from the heart and fun to do with your hubby. (Just some ideas) Have a blast!

First I wanted to congratulate you on finding "the one" and moving on with your life. As for the gift, I think something that would mean a lot to him would be a day together, doing something you both enjoy, (like an amusement park, a movie, a dance) or give him a letter and fill it with the words in your heart.

Give him something from the heart. Some ideas:

*A collections of romantic poems. (You could either write them yourself if you're creative, or find them in a book or online and just type them up.)

*Coupons for romantic favors.

*Hide lots of little paper hearts around the house. Maybe it could be a treasure hunt, leading to YOU!

* Something that's special and meaningful for the two of you. (Anything from your honeymoon, dating, etc....)

*A gift certificate for a spa that offers couples' massages.

*A home-cooked meal served by candle light with romantic music in the background.

Have fun and don't worry so much...I'm sure he'll love it!!!

How about a massage certificate? or a romantic drive to a nice place and dine at a wonderful restaurant? Or just plain letter telling him what he means to you and how lucky and honored you are.
Treat him like a king for a day, suspending all of his responsibilities.
