My friend's brother gets a cell phone, AIM, and this thing for his game so he can talk to people online, and my friend dosent get to watch PG 13 movies, even the ones that arnt that bad and that have a few cuss words untill Julyish and she dosent get Aim, cell phone, or anything really besides her fish. My friend is my best frined in the whole world and i dont think that is fair to her and she hates it to. She has talked to her parents and they didnt really listen that much. I want to comfort her but i dont know how. Please help me with Ideas. (P.S she watches PG 13 movies at my house, or someone elses house with out her parents knowing. and she is totaly responsible.)

How old is her brother? Sometimes life doesn't seem fair. But what can she do? Maybe her parents are being overly protective because she is a girl. She needs to show them how responsible she is. Maybe ask her to ask her parents for a cellphone, if she gets good grades or helps out around the house etc...if they feel she is earning it maybe they will be more apt to give it to her.

what does a phone have to do with a movie? there is no comparison. the phone can be used for emergencies - and maybe the rest is to compensate for things the sister got.
does she have a phone? if so, then it's equal. having a phone and seeing a movie are very different. responsible isn't the problem.
i don't see any problems here, i don't see how the two relate. it would be different if she couldn't have the phone.
you also didn't tell us the age of the brother - and can the brother watch the movies?

Your friend needs to abide by her parents rules.As for watching PG movies not a good idea.

I gree with you for this is not fair i know what is going wrong because i have a friend to and she never listens her parents.Her parents are so good with me but my friend she always make me do things for i do not want.She says to other peoples for i am a dork(She thinks so)and she thinks for she is the most beautiful girl in all the world.She acting like this when she was 7(In this age i meet her)And the problem with you and your friend is mabye because when she was a baby she was the baby sister and she do not like that and now your friend mabye acting like this because she thinks for you do not give her enogh attencion(If she thinks so because you mabye give her attencion but ahe wants more)I think that is the problem and yours need serious to learn wat is mean the word ''rules''.

oh wow that sucks, how old are you guys? if you're 13 and older, then she must have extremely strict parents... Well maybe she should write an essay to her parents about how responsible she is and how it's making her feel like she's being trapped and locked away from enjoying what every one else is.(nothing bad of course)
