well, that is what this fight is all about,..to keep them where they should be. If they want to come here, do the paper work,...after that pile of paperwork is satisfied, they should be proud to display an American flag,...they will have earned it.

I agree with you if its so good there then why are they here, not to be insulting any other races, but heres another for you in africa, the shawmen that go into villages killing these villagers were colorful attire, the normal africans do not, only these criminals of the most hanus nature wear this gettup, and if you notice there alot of african americans over here wearing the same type of clothing bragging about their heritage and how proud they are, but are so totally unaware of what they are doing, i learned this from my friend that came here from africa as a teenager, he said the ignorance is an insult, so i feel that american pride should be displayed proudly, other nationalities should keep their flags and such in their countries where it belongs, i promise to never move to mexico and fly old glory!!

Well, why don't all the Americans go back to wherever their ancestors immigrated from and give it back to the Natives that lived here? Everyone is entitled to be proud of where they cam from, no matter what happened there. Immigrants aren't the only ones who are on welfare, darling. Tons of good old WHITE Americans are sucking the system dry. But, I guess it's okay since they have Old Glory on their car, huh? America is based upon many different cultures and the right to keep their customs. That's what makes America so diverse and wonderful. If you don't like it, why don't you go back to where your ancestors came from? And, to answer your question, NO, it isn't insulting. I think it's great that they're taking pride in their heritage.

I think it's insulting to see the Confederate flag displayed in this country. It's a symbol of an attempt to rip apart the country in the cause of protecting slavery. The government of Puerto Rico has never attacked the mainland and has never killed soldiers of the US government as the Confederacy did. I'd be more inclined to work on getting rid of the Confederate flag than someone who choses to display the Puerto Rican flag.
As Puerto Rico is a territory of the US, displaying the Puerto Rican flag is not much different than displaying the flag of New Jersey or Idaho.

I don't think its really insulting, but I just think it is segregating themselves from the reason they came here. The came to America to have better lives, and to take full advantage of those opportunities that are presented to them.
I think a person should be proud of their heritage, but their country of origin is no longer their homeland.
A person can't segregate themselves and complain about segregation at the same time.
But in their defense, we live a military life, and here there are several who have those flags in their cars, but they also fight for our Country when some Americans refuse to.

If I lived in another country, being american,I would proudly display OUR Great flag.I would aslo, out of respect ,display the flag of the country in which I live.
I hope that doesnt insult anyone. And if it does OH WELL!
Im just greatful to live in a country that SO FAR still has
freedom of choice.
My biggest concern is our Constitution! And our rights as citizens of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!! NOT what flag someone else is saluting to.

Is it insulting? You're a pussy if you let someone display their flag on their own property or their own car or their own t-shirts, etc.
I love seeing people display their patriotism through yahoo while real patriots are out there dieing in Iraq. This little Mexican spent 9 yrs in the Army and still gets pulled over for Driving While Brown.

Maybe they're just proud of their heritage, ever think of that?
Oh, and I see PLENTY of Americans with their nationality flags on their cars too (like Italians and Irish). Do you hate them too? Because we are ALL descended from immigrants in this country (except Native Americans, they are the TRUE Americans, till the US stole their country and gave them a raw deal).

1. Very few of those are on welfare. That's not what they immigrated for.
2. Most Americans who travel around the world display American symbols. Some because they think it is superior, others simply because they have not stopped loving their homeland.
Must Americans feel so insecure, that they feel threatened when someone continues to display affection for the land he came from? I think that's sick, personally.

All sorts of people put all sorts of stuff on their cars -- where their kid goes to school, that their kid is a honor student, their favourite band, ask about their dog breed, who they voted for, god is their co-pilot, etc. Who cares that someone puts a flag on their car? There's something called freedom of speech in this country that allows people to display whatever they want on their car.
