girlfriend i am 19 years old and i played since i was 5 and i played varsity for my high school team all 4 years and i am playing on a scholarship to UOI right now so its definitly a girls sport but ( guys can play too);)

I personally think that the sport is made for both men and women. Even though you always hear about mens soccer on tv and everything. Women are just as competetive. My varsity girls soccer team at my high school scrimmaged the varsity guys and we kicked their butts. They felt s*** after the game, they were too cocky!

it is a sport for both girls and guys...but is mainly played by men up entil the last 30 yrs. alot of my friends that r girls including my gf play soccer.

Well its both girls and guys can play anyone can play. I even heard of dogs playing soccer.

I think it's both.Even though I barely get to see soccer here cause they hardly ever show it on TV...ESPN is run by idiots who think poker is a sport.
