I would say yes he can, but maybe not this season. I don't think the squad is deep enough. People didn't think he would do it the first time round, 8 years ago, but he did. With his strength of personality and knack of forward planning, I do think he will do it again. He is a master of eliciting consistency and great performances from his players. Look at the 1999 treble, how many great games and performances were his team involved in? Many.

If they are going to do the Treble again though, they need to strengthen the team in key areas (back-up for Scholes and Giggs, a younger striker because Solskjaer is getting on a bit, a handy acquisition of Owen Hargreaves). Lots of games will be played, and for that you need to have a deep squad. They have the tactical awareness, the experience, and the money, but they also need the physical means to do so.

Theirs' isn't the only Treble that has ever been done. Liverpool did a Cup Treble in 2001 (Worthington, FA, UEFA) and also completed an even harder triple in 1984 by winning the League cup, the championship and the European Cup. It has been done before, and will be done again.

Human and sporting potential per se, doesn't have limits. The only stoppers are in people's minds with the thought that such feats can't be done again. They have been done once already, so nip down the bookies and put a bet on for next season.

Even though I support the most excellent Pompey I would like Sir Alex to do it again. I think Man U are playing great football and even though he is an irratating blob Rooney can create goals from nowhere so yes I do think they can do it and I also think it is for the good of British Football if there is a shake up in the ranking of the bigger clubs every now and again

Possibly yes, as with the other teams still in contention.

But it will be difficult to duplicate what Man Utd did in 1999-2000 season. It will really take a lot of hard work, consistency and some luck to win all three.

Well, it's not impossible because when you look at how they are playing you can't just underestimate their goal.

I think it's early to say who will win what because Arsenal are going up and up while chelsea have also got both Terry and Cech back which I believe will boost their confidence.

Thanx!

Not a chance mate.everyone's writing off Jose cause we're having some i njury setbacks. When all's done & dusted & everyone's back fit it's gonna be a different story.6 pts can be made up easy, we're going well in the FA cup & we've still Porto to knock out of the Champs league.

I'd say EPL league title looks promising. Champion's league is another matter. I predict only the league title.

they will win the league, maybe at a push the fa cup but i can't see man u winning the champs league, maybe semi final at best.

while its still achievable then yes, i personally think not though...i think that the league is probably the only thing they will win...they will get knocked out in the 1/4 finals of champions league & also knocked out of the fa cup should they face chelsea or arsenal...thats my opinion anyway....

All he has to do is win the league, the F.A. cup and then the Champions league. That looks a lot to me!
