I love to perform, and really want to become an actress or singer, but I have to face the fact I live in arizona, not Hollywood. Does anyone know a good place (in AZ) to start?

I used to live in AZ so i know how you feel, your best bet is Phoenix Downtown! You can go to www.vyt.com and go from there. OR you can look up theatres in AZ and they usually have "Employment" in the navigation bar and usually they'll have auditions in your category

I hate to tain on your parade but you might want to look into relocating to LA or NYC. I do not know what colleges you have in AZ but why not look for a college that offers those calsses OR check the yellow pages or online for modeling agencies or talent agencies.

Try local theatre groups in your town or nearby towns. Many cities and theatre and/or acting groups. Check the phonebook for them or call local playhouses. Good luck!!
