try using a diff program like lime wire or bear share( b careful about bearshare bad sit but fast for music downloading)

if you are a major downloader you should go with napster cause you pay monthly and can download all the content you want although i'm not sure how compatable i-pods are with napster

songs= please buy them, don't illegally download
podcasts= already free!
get them on iTunes!!
